1. I have never graded any of my cards before, where do I start?

If you are grading your cards with 401 Games for the first time, the easiest way to get started is by filling out our card submission order form. Our Services include preparing your cards, submitting and shipping your cards to PSA. Once you drop off your card(s) to either of our retail store locations (Toronto or Vaughan,) we will process your transaction and keep you informed of the process and next steps. We currently are only offering grading services to local customers at our retail locations. We do plan to expand these services in the near future to customers who are not able to drop off in person. 2. Are my cards insured when they get sent in to be graded?

Yes, the prices of our services include all insurance fees and shipping to and from PSA.


3. How do I know if my cards are valuable enough to be sent in for grading?

With the Review Service, we will carefully look over your cards through a jeweler's loupe and notify you of any major/minor concerns that we have before we submit them. After we notify you of any sort of issues with a card, the decision will be completely up to you if you want to follow through with the submission. We will refund you the grading fee if any cards are omitted from the submission. Note: the Review Service fee will not be refunded for omitted cards as the Review Service was required to determine the omission of the card from the submission. Review service also includes the Card Wipe Service and Card Saver!

4. Is there a limit to the amount of cards that I am able to submit to be graded?

No, there is no limit to the amount of cards that you are able to submit for grading! How do I pay for grading? What are my payment options? A: You can pay in-store when you drop off your cards via cash, debit/credit, or store credit. 

 

5. What is the best way to package & protect my cards when I drop them off in-store?

When dropping your cards off in-store, make sure they are protected in a top-loader, one-touch or card saver. Cards not received in card savers will be subjected to a $0.50 per card add-on fee.  We currently are only offering grading services to local customers at our retail locations. We do plan to expand these services in the near future to customers who are not able to drop off in-person. We also offer a Review Service for $4.00 per card, ask a sales associate for more details.

 

6. What is the best way to prepare my cards before I drop them off? Do you offer a card cleaning service?

Yes, we do offer a card wipe-down service. Using a microfiber cloth to delicately wipe the surface of a card is highly recommended. We offer a card wipe-down before submission for $1.50 per card. We do not use any card cleaning solutions or products that attempt to doctor an item. You can refer to Section 12 of PSA's terms and condition for more information regarding Doctored Items

 

7. I live in the GTA can I drop off my cards that I would like to submit? Can I also pay for the submission when I drop them off?

Yes you can drop off your cards at either of our retail store locations (Toronto or Vaughan,) Feel free to stop by anytime that we are open and pay when you drop them off via cash, credit/debit, or store credit. We do plan to expand these services in the near future to customers who are not able to drop off in-person. For faster processing, please fill out our card submission order form in advance. 

 

8. How long does it take to get my cards back after I submitted them for grading?

Service level times are estimates only and are not guaranteed by 401 Games or PSA. Based on the service level that you choose; the Estimated Turnaround Times are strictly an estimation rather than a guaranteed timeline. Please refer to the service tier levels for approximate turnaround times.

 

9. If my cards come back at a grade lower than expected, will 401 Games issue a refund or any form of compensation?

No. 401 Games does not guarantee any grades and any cards that you are not content with can be resubmitted to any grading company at your own expense.

 

10. What kind of items can be graded with 401 Games? 

Currently we can get your cards, Sports and TCG, graded through any of our services. We do plan to expand these services in the near future to other items.
